Entertaining Family

One of the chief duties that came knocking on my doghouse door this week is entertaining my family visiting from Jacksonville, Florida. I was supposed to show them to the Sawgrass Mills Mall, but ended up being late. I raced to meet them and ended up arriving before them even though they allegedly left before me--according to a text from my cousin, which was among them. The past two days were fine, but this afternoon something was in the air, so to speak. I can't put my finger on it, but both aunts and my uncle were acting strange.

Anyway, we browsed the mall, bought nothing, and I bailed afterward. I think we needed a break from each just that fast. So tonight I am going to go see Wanted and then call it a evening. ....OH, and for some strange reason my newest uncle, Tony, husband of my aunt Joann was acting VERY strange while we were at the mall. First of all I didn't know he was there until approximately thirty minutes later. There he was brooding over the fact that his laptop's antivirus software expired and was awaiting me to bring my laptop to the mall. Seriously!? I was a little pissed about this. (There is more to this part of the story, but I'll save this drama for another entry) The whole while that we were at the mall he waddled behind the rest of us as we stopped at every store that caught our fancy. Oddest day this summer, and I hope it remains that way. No more weirdness.
